Course Overview:

The Classical Sound Chamber Music Academy offers advanced chamber music instruction and exciting performance opportunities to string players and pianists in middle and high schools in the Georgetown, Austin, and Round Rock areas.

The practice of chamber music improves students' technical skills on their instrument, as well as enhances their musical understanding through collaboration and communication. Chamber music is an excellent tool to develop listening, artistry and leadership skills.

Calendar: Approximately 10 coaching sessions on a weekly basis per semester.

Coaching Times and Location: Once a week during orchestra class.

Performances: Selected chamber groups will perform an opening piece at Classical Sound Concert Series

Public Masterclasses and Workshops: Selected chamber groups will perform on masterclasses given by members of the Artisan String Quartet or other prominent musicians in the area.

Enrollment: Fill out the Student Application form below and speak to your school orchestra teacher (participating schools listed below). Audition will take place at your school.

Payment: Pay your semester tuition online or by check to your chamber music coach.

*Tuition must be paid online before the first coaching session, or by check to the coach at the first session. Non-payment of any one student’s tuition will result in the suspension of that ensembles coaching until all students tuitions are paid.

Semester fees:

$300 per student per semester. Various payment options accepted. Pay online!
